The beginning of the Company was through POETRY.

Santa Companhia began with the creation of the blog Nada Pensativo on February 2, 2014, by Rafael Abrahão — a platform to sow poetry through words. The initial idea was to publish one poetic post per week

After three weeks, the number of views dropped. Resisting the urge to give up and believing in the living flame of poetry, the idea expanded into daily posts with different perspectives on the world — for that, it was necessary to forge golden alliances with kamaradas. Arthur Rizzo, Bruno Panhoca, and Viale de Lara joined the poetic writing.

For about three months, original poems were published from Monday to Thursday, reserving Fridays for poems by guest writers. After this period of content, Arthur Rizzo and Rafael Abrahão joined forces to write a play based on the poems from the blog. This marked the beginning of the company’s first theatrical production: Anamnese

Angelo Aleixo, Caio Megiato, Carmen Rizzo, Julia Ruiz, Lucas Riccardi, Pedro Fernandes, Pedro Palma, and Vitor Marques were the artists and technicians who formed the tyaso. Rehearsals began in May 2014 and continued until July 2015. In the meantime, we sowed other poetic, artistic, and urban creations.
