Ditiramba pra subir
Ditiramba pra Subir! is a short film manifesto-rite, interpreted by a bacchante and created through a poem-act dedicated to the enthusiastic power of Dionysus. Amidst nature, a tribute is paid to theater, taking the form of a chant in honor of our ancestral masters and some of the creative artists who were taken from us by this plague that ravages the world in the second decade of the 21st century. ‘Ditiramba pra Subir!’ is an offering of invocation and blessings from the god of Theater to creative energy. From Greece to Pindorama. From Pindorama to Sampã. The Santa Cia. summons the goddess Spring. From visible and invisible realities, the theatrical artistic occupation makes evident the conflict between times, generations, and genders. We warm up without fanfare all the hunger for freedom, mixing in a cauldron Hellenic gods, shepherds, and Frei Caneca. We digest in a public banquet the sacred and the profane, the taboo and the totem, the body and representativity, manifesting life as possibility.

The first documentary produced by Santa Companhia in collaboration with Paula Ferreira from Batuq Produções. The documentary focuses on the journey of the manifesto-rite performance Cora Primavera, emphasizing its journey in Curitiba, as participants of the FRINGE festival and also the Vigil #LULALIVRE that took place on April 7, 2019—one year after Lula’s political imprisonment.
