Like Antropomystika, Charon’s Mantra for Dionysus to Vanish was another performative party created to enable the materialization of Antropofrei. Through a golden bond forged with Rede Biroska, we were granted the space of Frango com Tudo restaurant.
Currents sealed with Beth Bé and Paula Caju, who would sing the river crossing.
We know Spring approaches. Plants and cashew trees, eager to bloom, cry for Cora’s return, just as the Bacchae and Dionysus dance awaiting their mother and sister. The season’s winds howl. The time has come to return Persephone to the world of the living.
To come back, one must cross the Styx. Charon, the subterranean ferryman, already waits. But we—the undead, demons, serpents, demigods, heroes, and underworld creatures—cannot let our Goddess cross alone to the other shore. We’ll guide her crossing... in celebration! We’ll do what we do best to say goodbye: we’ll grind and drink, we’ll give the infamous "close certo" dancing to the ground, in the company of the Goddess and Charon, the ferryman.
Time to board, come forth creatures!
