During the quarantine period of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Companhia sought ways to adapt and explore the relationship between Theater and Technology. As a result, we produced the Quarantine Pearls and music videos of the songs A Primavera (by José Miguel Wisnik) and Folia da Deusa (by Claudio Mascaro, Juliana Gotz, and Rafael Abrahão).

Today's plague is like theater
Whatever the speculations of historians or doctors about the plague may be, I believe we can agree on the idea of a disease that is a kind of psychic entity.

in its plague-force
Theater, like the plague, enters life and contaminates

And theater kills a kind of being it owns
That is, but can change
It doesn't have to

And theater stirs mysterious changes, transmutations, provocations in the collective spirit...
It is the plague.
A deep crisis...
Resolved either by death or by healing
And in theater, it's all the same
Our plague, which isolates us, will be etched into our body-memory forever
21st-century global plague
The one that put — and still puts — our bodies in check
Theater is impelled
It must be impelled
To enter the 21st century!
Not to end theater…
Impossible!
