It's october, 2014

And Vitor Marques, actor in Anamnese, attends a vernissage

At Verve Gallery, R. Lisboa, 285

There, he meets Allann Seabra, curator and visual artist

The encounter is fertile

An artistic bond is formed to create performative events:

The Thoughtful Saturdays

Every first Saturday of the month

Space is offered to the Company

For free performances and open manifestations

Cyclical or linear

Scenes, skits, happening

The process begins by consuming the work of the exhibiting artists

To spark poetic invention

With Pau-Brasil-like agility in manifestation,

We take action

October 2014

Dish served:

Audrey Landall “From the Center / Form”

François Ruegg “From Within / Surroundings

Digestion in bodies

CORPUS – the theme, title, propositio

The event begins

With the cracking of the EGG shell

In Praça Benedito Calixto – marking the beginning of street theatre in Santa Companhia

Among caxixis, drums, bacchante garments, and ivy crowns

Dionysus is present

From the public square to Verve Galler

Inside the gallery, diverse bodies

Among puppets, oppressors, the repressed, the oppressed, dancers and classical forms

Rhythmic two-hour cycles and an arrow pointing toward a continuity

That would extend for four more Thoughtful Saturdays
